Forbes Supports Legislation to Secure America’s Borders and Reduce Illegal Immigration

Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) announced his support for H.R. 2954, the Secure Borders FIRST Act of 2007. Sponsored by Reps. Peter King (NY-3) and Lamar Smith (TX-21), the bill will take tangible steps forward to increase the current inadequate border protection as well as to reform immigration laws.
H.R. 2954 would strengthen America’s immigration laws in a number of ways, including:
Congressman Forbes continues to be a strong advocate for immigration reform in the United States. He opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants and supports measures, like this legislation, that improve control along the nation’s borders.
