Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) announced today that over 40 area employers are scheduled to attend a job fair he is hosting in Chesapeake on Monday, August 13, 2012, at Greenbrier Middle School. The job fair is free and open to all constituents who are interested in learning about available jobs with area businesses.

In addition to meeting with area businesses, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with experts on resume writing, interviewing, and job searching, as well as get information on available apprenticeships.

Congressman Forbes made the following statement about the job fair: “I hope this event will provide a forum for employers and potential employees to learn about opportunities that are available in our region as we continue to work to create prospects for citizens of Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District."
