It's Time for Accountable Government

If lawmakers were spending their own money, would America still be going broke?

Randy wants to make those in Washington accountable for their decisions. He has introduced legislation to break Congress’ addiction to spending by tying the salaries of Members of Congress to the growth in government spending. The more they spend, the less they make.

Randy has a plan to make the federal government effective government:

• Mandate that the more taxpayer dollars lawmakers spend, the less they make in yearly salary.
• Increase transparency by requiring bills to be posted online at least 72 hours for the public to review before a vote. H.Res.554
• Audit the Federal Reserve and find out exactly where bailout dollars were spent. H.R. 1207
• Establish a commission to address our unsustainable debt and revamp the budget process for long-term fiscal viability. H.R. 1557
