A Note From Home

Dear Friend:

For those in our hometowns across America, there is truly nothing more valuable that we can send our troops on the frontlines than our prayers.  Rarely is there an opportunity to tangibly present our troops with evidence of this powerful protection around them.

This Christmas we have a unique opportunity to ensure that our troops feel our support during the holidays.  I invite you to personally commit that you will pray for one member of our Armed Services stationed in Iraq on Christmas Day by filling out this "Note from Home" card, created by the Congressional Prayer Caucus.  I will make sure that these cards are hand-delivered to our servicemembers by Christmas Day.  On that day, these men and women will have tangible evidence of the prayer occurring on their behalf nearly half-way around the world.

I invite you to take part in this project. If you are interested in participating, please follow the steps below:

1. Print out this card. We suggest printing on 8 1/2" x 11" paper, bond, or cardstock and cutting in half (one sheet will produce two cards).
2. Sign it and fill out your name, hometown, and email address (optional).
3. Mail or drop off the completed card to the District Office nearest you.

Cards must be received by December 17, 2007.

Yours truly,

Randy
