Last week, I had the privilege of visiting the Lifetouch, Inc. facility in Chesapeake. The 100% employee-owned business provides photographic portraits for schools, churches, and businesses across the country. In Chesapeake, the Lifetouch facility is home to the Lifetouch National School Studios' production, which sustains 120 year-round jobs and up to 450 seasonal employees. These local workers provide the services that make “Picture Day” possible in more than 12,000 schools from Florida to Maine.
