Touring Lifetouch in Chesapeake
Posted by Randy | March 27, 2012
Last week, I had the privilege of visiting the Lifetouch, Inc. facility in Chesapeake. The 100% employee-owned business provides photographic portraits for schools, churches, and businesses across the country. In Chesapeake, the Lifetouch facility is home to the Lifetouch National School Studios' production, which sustains 120 year-round jobs and up to 450 seasonal employees. These local workers provide the services that make “Picture Day” possible in more than 12,000 schools from Florida to Maine.

Here are some photos from my visit.

Thank you for visiting us and learning more about the difference employee ownership makes at Lifetouch - we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you!

I wanted to take the time to tell you how much your visit to our Lifetouch facility meant to me last week. It felt good to know that my Senator took the time to hear how important our ESOP is to all of us. In addition, thanks for the beautiful flag that was presented to us and for honoring us with a portrait in front of our lab, because memories is what we do best. Come by and see us anytime, you're always welcome.
